About Me

I am new to beading and have been making tennis bracelets.  I will soon be taking a loom class which I am looking forward to.  I am always on the look out for new bead options.

Glad to have you join our site. If you have any questions please feel free to shoot off an email to me or post here and I'll try to help if I can. Since you are new to beading - check out the tool tips, it may help you. Also keep checking back - I am in the process of adding more information to the site to help people new to this craft.

Bead Addicts

Bead Tip of the Day

Threading Needles - Can you say "Aaargh!"  No one likes to thread needles and if we could avoid it by using longer pieces of thread we would.  Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and thread one.

The easiest way to thread a needle is to take the thread between index finger and thumb and using your fingernail flatten the end of the thread.  Keep the thread pinched between those two fingers and bring the needle to the thread.  Should be able thread with minimual trouble.  If that fails, cut the tip of the thread and begin process again.  If the second go around, fails use a needle threader.
